During the lockdown periods, we consistently delivered a structured programme of learning, both remotely for those children studying at home and in person for those children of critical workers who we welcomed safely into our school.
Our teams built an adaptive online platform that kept children, staff and parents engaged with each other and helped deliver a full timetable, both throughout lockdown and beyond.
Where we would once have offered trips to places of educational interest, we changed the parameters and had the experiences come to us!

The children have continually impressed us with their resilience in managing this new way of working and the support of parents has been testament to the efforts of our staff in delivering an educational timetable that has been varied, exciting and adaptable to the changing needs of the children.

“My son has really been enjoying his on-line lessons, and it is so good that he is able to follow a normal school day timetable. We really appreciate all the efforts the staff are going to, to try and help the children through this difficult time and maintain their education.
I just wanted to say thank you so much for the home schooling. The regular Zoom calls are working really well and they both seem to be enjoying and engaging really well with them. My daughter feels that the core lessons are engaging and she completes the assigned tasks. The split between online and independent learning generally seems right. The timetable works well for us and has a good balance.
