On Tuesday, 4th March, as part of our 50th birthday celebrations, we hosted the ‘MKPS 50th Birthday Proms’ at Milton Keynes Theatre, an evening of music through the years. Nearly 300 children of our childrenaged from 4-11, along with a small choir of brave parents and staff, took to the stage to entertain friends, family, alumni and special guests. The band and conductor were our very own talented music teachers, who had also committed to many hours of rehearsals with the children.
Every child sang with enthusiasm and confidence, each voice contributing to a genuinely heartfelt performance. It is probably safe to say every member of the 600+ audience was thoroughly entertained and moved by the sheer excitement of the children. It was an unforgettable experience and our sincere thanks go to everyone involved – our dedicated staff, our appreciative audience and, most importantly, our brilliant children!
